Services
Notarization, authentication, apostille, and certified copies — under one roof.
Notary Public
Notarization
A licensed notary public witnesses your signature and confirms your identity on documents that require it — affidavits, statutory declarations, powers of attorney, consent-to-travel letters for minors, and sworn statements. Most notarizations are done the same day, in person, with valid government ID.
You’ll need: the unsigned document (sign in front of the notary, not before) and one piece of valid government-issued photo ID.
Global Affairs Canada
Authentication & Apostille
When a Canadian document needs to be recognized in another country, it typically needs to go through Global Affairs Canada. Since Canada joined the Hague Apostille Convention in January 2024, most member countries now accept a single apostille certificate. For non-member countries, the older two-step process — Global Affairs authentication followed by consular legalization at that country’s embassy — is still required. We confirm which path your destination country needs and handle the submission.
Common documents: degrees and transcripts, corporate documents, police certificates, powers of attorney, and vital statistics documents (birth/marriage/death certificates) issued by a Canadian province.
True Copy
Certified True Copies
Some institutions ask for a copy that has been formally certified as a true copy of the original, rather than the original itself — useful when you don’t want to mail away a passport, diploma, or certificate. A notary compares the copy against your original and certifies it.
You’ll need: the original document, in person.

Document Expediting
Mailing documents to Global Affairs Canada yourself works, but processing queues can run several weeks. As an expediting service, we hand-deliver submissions and track them through to completion, which is typically faster than the standard mail-in process — useful when you’re working against a visa, admission, or closing deadline.
Best for: time-sensitive submissions where the standard mail-in turnaround won’t meet your deadline.
